One of the first systems that often reaches its limits as turbocharged BMW engines produce more power is the factory fuel supply system.

A highly effective and affordable way to increase fueling capacity is upgrading the low-pressure fuel pump (LPFP), which supplies fuel from the tank to the high-pressure fuel pump located in the engine compartment.

The Stage 2 upgrade kit uses the proven Walbro 450 (F90000274) in-tank fuel pump to create a completely redesigned fuel bucket assembly. By replacing the original factory pump with the higher-flow Walbro unit, the system increases low-pressure fuel delivery capacity by approximately 100%.

Designed as a dedicated N55 low-pressure fuel pump upgrade, this solution provides the additional fuel volume required for higher horsepower applications while maintaining a reliable and efficient fuel system layout.
