The MOTIV Link adds wireless connectivity to the ReFlex+, bringing Bluetooth (BLE) and WiFi to the controller in a compact, easy-to-install module. It opens up wireless monitoring and firmware updates without needing a USB connection or physical access to the ReFlex+.

Quick install via a dedicated harness
The Link goes onto any existing ReFlex+ in minutes using one of MOTIV’s harness solutions:

  • Main Injector Patch Harness & Universal Flying Lead: a clean patch harness that connects between the existing 8-pin connector on the main harness and the mating 8-pin connector on the flying lead, routing all the needed signals to the Link with minimal effort.
  • Plug-and-play harnesses: a harness that taps four wires near the ReFlex+ main connector and feeds straight into a connector for the Link. Future harnesses are expected to carry the 4-pin Link connector built in for an even simpler install.

FAQ

What does the Link control unit do in the setup?
It is the controller that manages how the system operates based on its inputs. It coordinates the connected parts rather than acting alone.
Does it connect through dedicated harnesses rather than loose wiring?
It is designed to wire in through proper harnesses for a clean, reliable connection. That avoids the issues improvised wiring can cause.
Is it the central controller of the system?
Yes, it acts as the brain that ties the setup together. The other parts report to and take direction from it.
Does it need configuration to work correctly?
It generally needs setting up so it responds correctly to your hardware. Check what configuration is required before relying on it.
Can it be updated or expanded over time?
A modular controller can often be configured or expanded as your setup grows. Check whether it supports updates for future additions.
Is it aimed at modified rather than stock cars?
It suits builds that add hardware needing coordinated control. A stock car usually has no need for it.
