Take greater control of auxiliary fueling, sensors, and performance hardware with the MOTIV Motorsport ReFlex+ Control Unit. Built for demanding performance and competition applications, the ReFlex+ combines precise sequential port-injection management with a powerful range of configurable inputs, outputs, and CAN-bus communication capabilities.

Unlike basic auxiliary fuel controllers, the ReFlex+ functions as a versatile vehicle integration hub. It can operate independently without CAN communication, work alongside compatible tuning platforms through CAN bus, or provide deeper integration with supported tuning ecosystems. This flexibility makes it suitable for everything from dedicated port-injection control to more advanced builds requiring coordinated fuel, boost, sensor, and accessory management.

Precise Sequential Port Injection

The ReFlex+ can individually control up to eight port injectors, allowing fuel delivery to be synchronized with engine operation rather than relying on conventional batch-fire strategies. Injector fault-feedback capability adds another level of monitoring for high-performance applications where consistent fueling is critical.

Flexible Tuning & CAN Integration

Multiple operating strategies allow the ReFlex+ to adapt to a wide range of vehicle and tuning configurations:

  • Standalone operation without CAN-bus communication

  • CAN-bus communication with compatible tuning solutions such as MHD, EcuTek, MG Flasher, BM3, and other CAN-capable platforms

  • Advanced integration with supported EcuTek and MHD+ configurations

  • Programmable calibration through TunerPro RT

  • Support for universal and vehicle-specific setups

Comprehensive Sensor Inputs

The ReFlex+ provides the connections needed to monitor important engine and fuel-system data:

  • Control for up to 8 sequential port injectors with fault monitoring

  • 4 analog inputs supporting 0–5V and 4–20mA sensors

  • 2 frequency inputs supporting signals up to 10kHz and 20kHz

  • Dedicated flex-fuel input for ethanol-content monitoring

  • MAP, camshaft, and crankshaft sensor inputs

These capabilities make the controller well suited to flex-fuel configurations, supplemental fueling systems, pressure monitoring, and other data-driven performance applications.

Auxiliary Component Control

Four programmable low-side outputs allow the ReFlex+ to manage additional performance equipment using PWM or digital ground control. Depending on the vehicle configuration, these outputs can be used for components such as:

  • Auxiliary fuel pumps

  • Boost-control solenoids

  • Methanol injection systems

  • Nitrous systems

  • Other electronically controlled performance accessories

Multiple switched 12V outputs are also available for powering compatible ignition-switched components.

One Controller, Multiple Functions

For builds that would otherwise require several separate modules, the ReFlex+ provides a centralized solution for supplemental fuel management, sensor acquisition, flex-fuel monitoring, CAN communication, and auxiliary device control. Its broad configuration options make it equally useful for straightforward port-injection setups and complex competition vehicles requiring extensive electronic integration.

Important Product Information

This listing includes the ReFlex+ Control Unit only. Wiring harnesses, vehicle-specific installation components, sensors, and complete integration kits are not included and must be purchased separately where required.

Competition Use Notice: MOTIV Motorsport specifies this product for competition racing vehicles operated exclusively in closed-course applications. It is not intended for public-road or highway use. The purchaser is responsible for confirming and complying with all applicable local, state, provincial, and federal laws and regulations.

FAQ

What electrical connections does the control unit need?
It ties into the relevant fueling circuit along with a stable power and ground source to work correctly. Make sure every connector is clean and firmly seated so the signals stay reliable.
Where should the control unit be mounted for reliable operation?
Modules like this belong in a protected spot away from direct heat, vibration and water. Choose a secure mounting location with firmly seated connectors so it stays stable over time.
Do I need a laptop or special software to set it up?
Setup generally runs through the unit's own configuration process rather than random tools. Check the listing to see whether software or a preset map is included with your purchase.
Can it be removed later to return the car to stock?
It is an add-on module, so in most cases it can be unplugged and removed to restore the original wiring. Keep your factory connectors and parts so a clean reversal stays possible.
Will fitting this control unit affect my factory warranty?
Aftermarket engine electronics can influence warranty coverage on related components, depending on your terms. Review your dealer or warranty conditions before installing anything that alters fueling.
Is this needed for a stock car or aimed at modified builds?
It is aimed at performance and modified setups where finer control over fueling adds value. On a fully stock car the practical benefit is limited.
