Stop testing fuel at the pump and reflashing the ECU every time you switch between pump gas and E85. The MOTIV FlexFuel+ reads your ethanol content in real time and feeds it straight to the car, so blend changes are handled for you.

It measures ethanol concentration and fuel temperature continuously and sends that live data to the ECU/DME over CAN bus, so the car can adjust fuelling automatically for the blend in the tank. You can also watch everything over Bluetooth Low Energy on your phone, with ethanol percentage, fuel temperature (switchable °C/°F), sensor connection status and CAN Bus status all on screen. Setup, including the CAN Bus communication settings, is done through the MOTIV app over BLE.

FAQ

What does the ethanol content analyzer measure?
It reads the ethanol percentage in your fuel so the system knows the blend. That lets a flex-fuel setup adjust fueling accurately.
How do the CAN bus and Bluetooth connections work?
CAN bus shares the reading with the car's electronics, while Bluetooth sends it to a device. Together they make the ethanol data easy to use and monitor.
Why read ethanol content over CAN or Bluetooth?
CAN lets a tune react to the exact blend, and Bluetooth lets you watch it live. That makes flex-fuel running safer and more precise.
Does it need a separate ethanol sensor, or include one?
An analyzer works with an ethanol content sensor to get its reading. Check whether the sensor is included or bought separately.
Is it useful without a flex-fuel tune?
It can display the ethanol content on its own, which is handy to know. The full benefit comes when a flex-fuel tune uses the data.
Can I monitor the readings on my phone?
The Bluetooth link is there to send readings to a phone or device. Check which app or display it works with.
