A full aluminium charge pipe and boost pipe kit for the S55-powered F8X M2 Competition, M3 and M4, replacing the brittle factory plastic piping that can blow off or rip apart under high boost and cost you power. The 6061 aluminium pipes resist cracking, bending and denting, and the larger bore cuts turbulence for better throttle response and less turbo lag.

The kit covers both sides: the boost pipe from turbo to intercooler, and the charge pipe (J-pipe) from intercooler to throttle body. This is FTP’s V2, a patented one-piece, integrally formed design with no welds, and the air path is 20% shorter than the previous version. The right-hand charge pipe carries a 1/8" NPT bung, correctly positioned for water or methanol injection. FTP also designed a dedicated throttle fitting for the S55 with its own clip, so the pipe seats into the throttle body securely and stays stable.

Everything needed is in the box, seal, O-ring, C-clip and screw included, made specifically for the S55 M3/M4.

FAQ

What is the difference between the charge pipe and the boost pipe?
The charge pipe and boost pipe sit on different parts of the pressurized air path. The combo upgrades both sections rather than just one.
What changed in the V2 version?
A V2 usually refines the design over the first version, such as fit or construction. Check the listing to see what the update brings.
Does the combo cover both sides the S55 needs?
The combo is meant to replace both pipes the S55 relies on under boost. Confirm it includes both parts for your car.
Does it fit both the F80 M3 and the F82 M4?
It targets the F80 M3 and F82 M4 sharing the S55. Confirm your exact model before ordering.
Do the pipes retain the factory valve and sensor connections?
A good set keeps the original valve and sensor ports so everything reconnects. Confirm it retains your car's connections before fitting.
Is the combo better value than buying the pipes separately?
Buying both together is usually cheaper than sourcing each pipe alone. It also ensures the two parts are matched to work together.
