An aluminium charge pipe for B58-powered BMWs that replaces the brittle factory plastic pipe, the part that tends to crack and fail once boost is raised. Alongside the reliability gain, the larger bore cuts turbulence and improves flow into the engine, so the turbo breathes more freely.
It is a direct OEM-style fit, connects with 3-ply silicone couplers, and includes a bung for water injection.
Key points
- Larger bore for increased flow
- Direct OEM replacement
- 3-ply silicone couplers
- Water injection bung
- Ends the stock plastic pipe’s failures for good

Proper bit of kit, FTP quality shows, went on clean
Runs on my A90 Supra which shares the B58, so this covered me nicely. Welds are tidy, sat right on the factory couplers, and it shrugs off the extra boost from my map
Turned up a little later than the estimate said, but it was well boxed and the part itself is flawless
Mechanic had it fitted in no time, said it lined up perfectly with the stock components. Feels miles more solid under load now
Was comparing a few brands and FTP won on reputation, glad I did. No leaks, holds boost, and the part number matched my car exactly
