One component that eventually needs to be upgraded on virtually all turbocharged BMW engines as power levels increase is the fuel supply system.
A cost-effective yet highly effective upgrade is improving the low-pressure fuel pump (LPFP), which transfers fuel from the tank to the high-pressure fuel pump in the engine bay.
The Stage 2 Kit offered here uses the well-known Walbro 450 (F90000274) in-tank fuel pump to build a completely new fuel bucket assembly by replacing the factory pump with the Walbro unit. This increases the flow capacity of the low-pressure fuel system (LPFP) by approximately 100%.

Due to issues we experienced in the past with used fuel pump housings (such as plastic deterioration caused by prolonged fuel exposure), we now build all LPFP upgrade kits exclusively using brand-new fuel pump assemblies. At the same time, we have been able to reduce the overall price of the kit.
