Eventuri’s approach to the transverse B48 is to treat the intake as one engineered system rather than a filter swap. In place of the factory airbox goes a patented carbon fibre Venturi housing with an integrated MAF tube, which does the real work: it shapes the air into a smooth, laminar path from filter to turbo inlet, behaving like a large velocity stack instead of a cone sitting in turbulent air. The payoff Eventuri measured is a 0.2-second improvement in the 60-130 mph run on an otherwise stock car.

Inside the housing sits a bespoke Generation 2 dry filter, and the housing seals against a carbon front duct that has been maximised in volume to take restriction out of the flow path. Because it is sealed, the duct only ever feeds the filter ambient air, so intake temperatures stay steady across most conditions and the turbo can run a lower waste-gate duty cycle. Aluminium inlet cowls and laser-cut stainless brackets tie the system into the engine bay precisely, all finished in Eventuri’s signature prepreg carbon.

What’s in the system

  • Carbon fibre Venturi housing with integrated MAF tube
  • Bespoke high-flow Generation 2 filter
  • Carbon fibre sealed duct
  • Aluminium inlet cowls
  • 2x laser-cut stainless steel brackets

Measured result: 60-130 mph improved by 0.2 seconds on the stock tune.

Fits (B48): BMW F40 M135i and F44 M235i

FAQ

Does one intake fit both the F4X M135i and M235i?
It is made for these closely related F4X models. Confirm your exact car and engine before ordering.
Does it fit the compact engine bay without modification?
These cars have a tight engine bay, so the intake is shaped to suit it. Confirm clearance for your specific model.
Does it retain the factory air sensor?
It relocates the original air sensor into the new intake so readings stay correct. Confirm it has the right port for your car.
Does it need a supporting tune for best results?
An intake mainly helps once a tune uses the extra airflow. On its own the gain is modest.
Does it change the induction sound on these hatches?
It makes the intake note more present under acceleration. A housed design keeps it refined rather than raw.
Is the carbon premium worthwhile on an M135i or M235i?
Carbon costs more for its finish and heat-resistant housing. If presentation matters to you, the premium is reasonable.
